The Mission
This time, people from eBay contacted us to create a custom sneaker design inspired by their brand colors. The pair was made around the time they were introducing their new AI Shopping Assistant, so they wanted something that felt modern, different, and a little more playful than the usual corporate designs.
From the beginning, the request was clear. They wanted a cartoon-style look, using the colors from the eBay logo, while keeping the shoes clean enough to still feel wearable.

For this pair, the main reference was the color palette from the eBay logo. Instead of keeping the design simple, the idea was to make the sneakers look more dynamic, with bold outlines and bright colors that would stand out right away.
The colors were placed in different areas of the shoe to keep the design balanced while still giving it that cartoon feel they were looking for.

One of the key details of the design was the graphic placed on the back of the shoe, inspired by their new AI Shopping Assistant. The goal was not to make it look like a regular logo placement, but to give the pair a more innovative and modern feel, similar to the technology behind the project.
